SMAI World Karate Federation Approved Shin and Instep Guards absorb the knocks and blows associated with kumite. Foot section has adjustable Velcro straps around the rear of the heal and is held firmly, yet comfortably, in position with elastic straps on the insole and toes. The shin and instep attaches to the foot with soft Velcro. Three Velcro straps to the rear secure the guards to the shin and calf. Made from Premium Synthetic Leather, that's easy to wipe clean before and after use.

    These are good, mid-range pads, comfortable, not bulky and secure. The seem to give a good level of protection to both the wearer and opponent. How hard wearing they will be, only time will tell...! But for the price they are here, who could ask for more?
