The sword is slightly flexible allowing for better shock absorption when striking hard objects or sparring with other training weapons. Features a red plastic imitation of a traditional cord-wrapped handle to provide a solid grip. Dimensions: 76cm blade and 28.5cm handle. Tsuba and rubber ring included. 628g.
An excellent sword, very sturdy.
It will be perfect for both solo training and sparring. It's heavier than both a katana and bokken so it will be perfect for developing muscle memory for tameshigiri.
This is a very well made, very good bokken. It stands out leaving all other plastic bokkens behind with its red tsuka ito imitation. But it could be more sturdy though.
