This Bo staff is a dense hard wood so nice and heavy but not cumbersome. Great for building up grip, arm and upper-body strength. I look forward to many years of use out of this product. Excellent.

The staff is even better than I hoped for. A very nice finish, proper thickness to sustain heavy beatings without flexing or breaking, and with a solid weight that feels good. Not so light as to be flimsy, and not so heavy as to be sluggish or awkward. This is a weapon, not some demonstration prop. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to work with staff skills.
