As part of our 'Geisha' collection, we have taken the authentic design of a Japanese Geisha Parasol or 'Kinugasa' and created a stunningly beautiful pendant cast in solid Sterling Silver with the centre plated in 18ct Rose Gold and set with a stunning sparkling Diamond.
Hand carved, this original design illustrates in fine detail all the components of the Japanese Parasol in a multi dimensional form. The craftsman has also hand engraved patterns from the silk and cleverly textured the silver to replicate the materials used.
The pendant suspends from a good quality sterling silver chain which is concealed at it's rear and allows the pendant to sit beautifully flat on the neck.
This pendant is a substantial piece measuring 40mm in diameter and weighs an impressive 15 grams plus the chain.
This superb pendant is a numbered piece and will be supplied in a presentation box and accompanied by a brand tag and a certificate of authenticity.
Japanese Parasols 'Kinugasa' were seen as a status symbol and reserved for the elite of Japanese society including Geisha.
