Design of this uniform is not too light that it wont sit right and not too heavy to train in, vents give much needed cooling during training.
Good quality, love the mesh vented areas. But adidas must think that everyone's like a string bean. It barely went past the middle, nowhere near the same width as another gi of the same size. So great gi if you're tall and skinny. Not so good if you've a couple of kilos to lose. Other reviewers clearly must be in great shape.
Great gi and lightweight good summer gi. Easy to iron
I'm 6ft tall and pretty well built (read that as a bit fat). Bought a 190 size. Fits like a charm. Trousers could go up an inch or 2 but I'm very pleased with it. I'll probably buy another as it's nice and lightweight which is perfect for this hot weather.
Also bought my wife a 170. She is 5ft 8" and slim, It's probably a tad bigger on her frame but still acceptable.
This gi is a great gi, if you prefer training in the lighter gis or train somewhere where its always hot and are looking for something lighter then its the gi for you! Its very comfortable to wear and train in, I also love the venting on the back and trousers! Highly recommended for all levels and again those who prefer their light weight gis!
Light weight and cool for the summer night training
A quick buy for the boy competing in Germany. Thought the hall would be hot and that the light suit and venting would be good. Cracking suit good price, cracking service.
This gi is certainly fit for purpose - cool to wear, washes well and doesn't crease too much.
It also doesn't absorb belt colours like plain cotton gi.
It's more of a Japanese or kata cut, with shorter sleeves and longer lapel, though the legs are more of a European length (long)
